Dr. Dulaney graduated from West Virginia University with an A.B. degree
in Predentistry in 1966. He received his D.D.S. degree from WVU School
of Dentistry in 1970, finishing second in his class. During his senior
year in dental school, Dr. Dulaney served as class president, president
of dental fraternity Xi Psi Phi, president of the Interfraternity
Council and Student Council President.
He practiced general dentistry for two years in Sistersville, West
Virginia, before returning to complete orthodontic training. He received
an M.S. degree in orthodontics in 1974 from the University of Michigan,
graduating first in his class.
Dr. Dulaney started his own orthodontic practice in Big Rapids, Michigan,
in July of 1974. Recognizing the need for quality orthodontics in the surrounding communities, he also opened an office in Fremont..
Dr. Dulaney has served on the Orthodontic Specialty Examination Board,
which reviews dentists who have completed at least two years of university
orthodontic training after dental school and have applied for a specialty
license to practice orthodontics in the state of Michigan. He also
has been a lecturer on orthodontic practice management, presenting
seminars throughout the country. Dr. Dulaney is a member of the American
Association of Orthodontics and strives to stay on the cutting edge
of orthodontic technology, including Herbst therapy, the Damon bracket
system and Invisalign treatment.
When not practicing orthodontics, Dr. Dulaney enjoys hunting, fishing,
skeet shooting, motorcycle endurance riding and, most of all, spending
time with his four children.
